I’m an award-winning data reporter focusing on climate and the environment for The Washington Post. Prior to The Post, I spent 4 years as an investigative data reporter at USA TODAY where I reported on stories about natural disasters, extreme weather, ambulance diversions and evictions. I also spent 6 years covering housing, campaign finance, crime, and the environment as a watchdog reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Prior to that, I worked for inewsource in San Diego and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
I spend much of my free time in the outdoors – camping, hiking, fishing, and surfing.
